1. BlackBerry Ltd on Tuesday filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Facebook and its WhatsApp and Instagram apps, arguing that they copied technology and features from BlackBerry Messenger.

2. Jeff Bezos, the founder and chief executive of online retail giant Amazon, is now the world's richest person, according to Forbes magazine's annual billionaires list published Tuesday. The fortune of Jeff Bezos went to $112 billion (roughly Rs. 7.27 lakh crores), according to Forbes, after Amazon stock's value rallied by 59 percent over the past 12 months.

3. Online furniture marketplace Pepperfry has raised Rs 250 crore in a fresh round of funding from State Street Global Advisors, the asset management unit of State Street Corporation.

4. Expanding its portfolio of mobile workstations and business notebooks, HP Inc. on Wednesday introduced three devices in its "EliteBook" series and two devices in "Zbook" series in India.

5. Avenir Telecom licensed smartphone brand Energizer Mobiles has announced the launch of the latest Hardcase H570S in France. This is the company's first rugged smartphone that comes with IP68 dust and water resistance.

6. BlackBerry Ltd on Wednesday signed a technology and brand licensing deal with Swiss consumer electronics maker Punkt Tronics AG for "BlackBerry Secure" that will be installed in phones and other smart devices.

7. Uber's self-driving trucks have been hauling cargo on Arizona highways, the US ride-hailing firm said on Tuesday, laying out plans for autonomous vehicles to work with truck drivers to move freight around the country.

8. Boat Lifestyle on Wednesday launched the NIRVANAA TRES triple driver earphones with High Definition (HD) audio and an in-line microphone. The new earphones with a price tag of Rs. 3,990 are available for purchase through Amazon.in. The company is offering a one-year warranty.

9. Telecom Italia (TIM) on Tuesday pledged to accelerate cash flow generation, increase shareholder returns and become a more digital player in the first three-year business plan under new Chief Executive Amos Genish.

10. Trai chairman RS Sharma has said top telcos are free to match the lower or even free offers of a rival without falling foul of the latest predatory pricing order that redefined significant market power (SMP) because their intention is not to kill competition.

11. Microsoft is set to move Windows 10 S from a dedicated operating system to merely a mode for existing Windows 10 versions in 2019.

20. To curb resellers from purchasing numerous units and selling them off at a premium, Xiaomi India on Tuesday announced that it would be removing the COD (Cash On Delivery) payment option for the Redmi Note 5 Pro for "initial few sales" on Mi.com and Flipkart.

Microsoft announced that you can play this Xbox One and Windows 10 PC exclusive from May 22. State of Decay 2 price is $30 (around Rs. 1,945) internationally with a State of Decay 2 Ultimate Edition at $50 (approximately Rs. 3,241). The State of Decay 2 India price is Rs. 1,999 with the Ultimate Edition costing Rs. 3,324.

Xiaomi has addressed it by releasing an MIUI 9.2.5.0 OTA (over-the-air) update that is already rolling out for all the Redmi Note 5 Pro users.
