1. Canon has launched the EOS M50, its latest interchangeable lens mirrorless camera that’s geared towards entry-level users. It also happens to be Canon’s first M series camera to feature 4K video recording.

2. Scientists have developed a smart contact lens that can monitor blood sugar levels from tears in the eye in patients with diabetes, spelling an end for painful needle pricks.

3. India's largest telecom operator Bharti Airtel today said it has joined a new global collaboration to bring high-speed and uninterrupted in-flight data connectivity to mobile customers.

17. Samsung on Monday announced the launch of its latest 3-stack ISOCELL Fast 2L3 CMOS image sensor in South Korea. It has integrated two-gigabit LPDDR4 Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) that claims to deliver fast data readout speeds helping capture images in super-slow motion as well as images with less noise and distortion.

24. Online payments major Paytm plans to apply for a licence to operate as a life and general insurer. Paytm, which has set up two separate entities named Paytm Life Insurance and Paytm General Insurance, will file an application with IRDAI.
