1. Sony on Thursday expanded its RX camera lineup in India by launching the RX0 waterproof action camera. The new camera comes at a price of Rs. 64,990 and will go on sale in the country starting Friday.

2. Cyberattacks in the country caused financial damages to the tune of about $500,000 to India companies in the last 12-18 months, says a study.

3. ARM Holdings has announced a new solution called iSIM to integrate SIM functionality into connected devices - without requiring a traditional SIM card or even embedded SIM (eSIM).

5. Snap Inc's Snapchat on Tuesday responded to a Change.org petition that sought a reversal of the messaging app's latest redesign. The San Diego-based company has announced the first integrated 802.11ax-ready Wi-Fi chip solution called WCN3998, which includes 2x2 antennas and supports WPA3 encryption. The company has also unveiled a new VR Reference Design based on the Snapdragon 845 SoC and an updated TrueWireless Stereo technology.

15. Twitter announced Wednesday a crackdown on accounts powered by software "bots" which can artificially amplify a person or cause and which have been accused of manipulating the social network during the 2016 US election.

19. Sony Mobiles on Thursday announced the rollout of an update for its 3D Creator app on its smartphones including the Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ Premium. In accordance with the update, users of these two phones will be able to upload their 3D scans on to their Facebook accounts using the 3D creator app.

21. Popular shooter-survival game Fortnite is now a whole lot cheaper. Epic Games has announced that it's now 50 percent off on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Keep in mind this is for the Fortnite Save the World mode of the game which has been in paid early access since the middle of last year.
