1. Scientists have developed a programmable quantum processor made
with silicon, an advance that brings quantum computers closer to
reality. The research, published in the journal Nature, used
microwave energy to align two electron particles suspended in
silicon, then used them to perform a set of test calculations.
2. Apple is reportedly gearing up to introduce three new iPhones this
year and one of them will be more popular than the others, a top
analyst with Taiwanese business group KGI Securities has said.
3. Finnish network gear maker Nokia said on Thursday it has started a
strategic review of its digital health business. Digital health, part
of Nokia Technologies unit, is one of the areas where the company has
been looking for future growth opportunities amid a tough market for

4. Elon Musk’s SpaceX, fresh off the successful launch this month
of the world's most powerful rocket, won an endorsement on Wednesday
from the top US communications regulator to build a broadband network
using satellites. Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai
proposed the approval of an application by SpaceX to provide
broadband services using satellites in the United States and
worldwide.
5. Samsung has stopped the rollout of Android Oreo for the Galaxy S8
and Galaxy S8+ smartphones. The company has also pulled back the
firmware files for both the handsets from its servers. The company
has not yet officially revealed any reason for the suspension of the
update and it is also not clear that when it will resume the update.
6. Finish company HMD Global, which manufactures Nokia-branded
smartphones is now at No. 11 position in the global smartphone
ranking.
7. Alphabet Inc's Google is raising the price of its Youtube TV
online service for new customers as it adds channels from Time Warner

the company said Wednesday.

14 African countries and is now considering listing Bharti Airtel

its entry into Australia, has made a soft launch in Perth as it
extends its battle with US-based rival Uber overseas. As a part of

10. Bengaluru-based Lithium Urban Technologies, the country’s first
provider of electric cab service for corporate clients, is scouting
for a partner to set up charging infrastructure for e-vehicles.
11. Taking on Amazon, Google and Apple, Facebook is now set to
officially roll out two smart home speakers in 2018. According to a
report in Taipai-based website Digitimes, the two models — Aloha
and Fiona with 15-inch touchscreens — will be launched around July.
12. Lenovo has launched its Moto Z2 Force in India priced starting at
Rs 34,999. The smartphone is built using series 7000 aluminium and
its display is made using a ‘ShatterShield’ technology, which the
company says won’t crack or shatter under duress. It will be

from 12 AM, February 16.
